Programs and Services

The Peer Nutrition Program provides workshops for young mothers with children aged 6 months to 6 years old.  Delivered by a City of Toronto Public Health nutritionist, workshop themes include: how to maintain a healthy diet for the whole family, introduction to solid foods from liquids, and how to provide good nutrition within a tight family budget.  Child care is provided to allow mothers with small children to attend.  At the end of the program, certificates of program completion are presented to the participants.
